Artist Partner Terms

Version 1.0 · Last Updated: July 31, 2026 · I AM Sound Ltd, trading as The Daily Meds

1

Who These Terms Are Between

These terms are an agreement between you and I AM Sound Ltd, trading as The Daily Meds (“The Daily Meds”, “we”, “us”). They cover your participation in The Daily Meds Artist Partner Programme (“the Programme”) as an approved partner — a brand or an artist paid in cash on the subscriptions you bring in. They apply to you the moment you submit an application or accept a commission payment. They do not govern the separate arrangement under which an ordinary member who refers a friend receives credit against their own subscription (see section 3.3).

They sit on top of our main Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy, both of which are incorporated into these terms and continue to apply to you as a member of the platform. Where these terms and the main Terms & Conditions disagree on something specific to the Programme — commission, attribution, payment, promotion or termination of your partnership — these terms win. On everything else, the main terms govern.

We have written this in plain English on purpose. If a clause is unclear, ask us at support@thedailymeds.com before you rely on it.

2

Who Can Take Part

To join the Programme you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old. This is higher than the 13-year minimum for using the platform, because taking part means entering a commercial contract and completing payment onboarding — both of which require legal capacity.
  • Hold an account with The Daily Meds in your own name, and keep it in good standing.
  • Give us accurate information about who you are and where your audience is.
  • Not be resident in, or acting on behalf of anyone in, a country subject to comprehensive sanctions, and not appear on any UK, EU, UN or other applicable sanctions or asset-freeze list.
  • Be able to receive payment lawfully in your country of residence.

Acceptance into the Programme is at our discretion. We can decline an application, and we do not have to explain a commercial decision not to work with someone — though if we suspend or end an existing partnership, we will always tell you why (see section 11).

3

Applying and Becoming a Partner

3.1 What you are applying for

These terms govern one thing: the partner relationship. Brands and artists who are approved as partners are paid 20% in cash on the subscription payments made by the people they bring in, for as long as those subscriptions stay active and are paid. Brands and artists are paid at the same rate; the only difference between them is how we work together on assets and campaigns.

3.2 How approval works

You apply through the Artist Partner Programme page while signed in to your account. We review each application ourselves. Approval is discretionary: we look at whether the fit between your audience and The Daily Meds is genuine, not only at audience size. You become a partner — and these terms begin to bind you as one — only when we confirm in writing that your application is approved.

If we decline your application you may apply again later — a rejected application does not close the door, and reapplying clears the earlier decision. While an application is pending or approved you cannot submit a second one.

3.3 Referring a friend is a separate arrangement

Any member who simply refers someone receives 10% of what that person pays as credit against their own subscription to The Daily Meds. That credit reduces what the member owes us; it is never paid out as money, so no payment threshold, payout schedule or payment channel applies to it. It is a different arrangement from the one set out here, and these terms do not govern it.

4

Commission, Attribution and Payment

4.1 What you earn

Approved partners — brands and artists alike — earn 20% of each subscription payment we actually receive from a subscriber attributed to you, recurring for as long as that subscription remains active and paid. Commission is calculated on the amount we receive, net of any discount applied, and never on tax.

4.2 Attribution window

When someone follows your tracked link we store an attribution for 30 days. If they start a paid subscription within that window, the referral is yours. Attribution is locked to you at the subscriber’s first paid invoice, so later renewals stay attributed to you and cannot be taken by a later link. Where a partner attribution and an ordinary member referral are both live for the same person, the partner attribution takes precedence.

4.3 When commission is actually earned

Commission is earned only on money we have received and kept. If a payment is refunded, reversed, charged back or was made by a fraudulent or artificial signup, the related commission is reversed — including after it has been credited to your balance. Reversals apply for at least 30 days after a payment, and for longer where a chargeback or fraud investigation runs beyond that. If a reversal lands after you have been paid, we may offset it against your next payment.

4.4 Minimum payout — £50, and it rolls over

Commission is recorded and paid in pounds sterling (GBP). The minimum payout is £50. Below £50 your balance is not paid out — it rolls over and keeps building until it clears £50. This floor exists because partner commission is a cash transfer; it has nothing to do with the member referral credit described in section 3.3, which is never paid out and is therefore never held back.

The honest reason for the floor: bank transfer fees, payment-processor charges and currency conversion on a small international transfer routinely cost more than the transfer is worth. Paying out £4 would mean most of that £4 disappearing into fees rather than reaching you. Nothing is lost by waiting — rolled-over commission stays yours.

4.5 Requesting a payout

Payouts are not automatic. Your balance is shown in your partner dashboard at all times. Once it passes £50, request a payout by emailing support@thedailymeds.com and we send it to your connected bank account. Before sending, we check the balance against refunds and chargebacks on recent payments (section 4.3), so commission on a payment made in the last 30 days may be held for the next payout.

4.6 Stripe Connect and identity checks

Cash payouts are made through Stripe Connect Express. Before we can pay you, you need to complete Stripe’s onboarding from your partner dashboard: Stripe collects your identity and bank details directly and runs the know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering checks it is legally required to run. We never see or store your bank details.

Your use of that payout channel is governed by Stripe’s own connected-account agreement as well as these terms. If Stripe declines, restricts or closes your connected account, we cannot pay you until it is resolved — your commission keeps accruing in the meantime, but it cannot be transferred. Commission is stated before any fee Stripe charges on the receiving side.

5

Tax and Your Status

You take part in the Programme as an independent, self-employed person or business. Nothing in these terms creates employment, agency, partnership, joint venture or a franchise between us. You are not our employee or worker, you do not act for us, and you cannot bind us to anything.

Commission is paid gross. You are responsible for your own income tax, self-assessment or local equivalent, VAT or sales tax, and any social security or national insurance contributions due in your country of residence. We do not withhold or account for these on your behalf.

If you are VAT-registered in the UK or the EU, tell us — we may need to apply reverse-charge treatment and to show your VAT number on the relevant documentation.

We may be required to report payment information to HM Revenue & Customs or to another tax authority, and to ask you for your tax residency, tax reference number or business details in order to do so. If you do not provide that information when we are legally obliged to collect it, we may have to pause your payouts until you do.

How You May Promote The Daily Meds

The short version: promote us the way you would recommend something you actually use, on channels that are genuinely yours, to an audience that genuinely chose to hear from you.

What is welcome

  • Your own social channels, newsletter, podcast, stream, website or community space.
  • Your honest personal experience of using The Daily Meds.
  • The images, audio clips, copy and artwork we supply to partners.
  • Your own tracked link, shared openly and labelled as advertising (see section 7).

What is prohibited

  • Paid search on our name. No bidding on “The Daily Meds”, “thedailymeds”, our other marks, or misspellings and near-variants of them, in any paid search or ad platform.
  • Cookie stuffing or forced clicks. No dropping tracking on people who never chose to click, no auto-redirects, no hidden iframes, no pop-unders.
  • Unsolicited email or messaging. No spam, no purchased lists, no cold DMs, no unsolicited SMS or WhatsApp blasts. This breaches the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations in the UK and the ePrivacy Directive in the EU. You must have a lawful basis and valid, recorded consent for every list you send to.
  • Bought or artificial traffic. No traffic exchanges, bot traffic, click farms, or paying or rewarding people for clicking your link.
  • Self-referral. No using your own link for your own subscription, and no creating a second account to refer yourself. This includes referrals through a household member acting on your instruction.
  • Domains and handles. No registering domain names, social handles, app names or usernames containing “The Daily Meds” or anything confusingly similar to it.
  • Coupon, cashback and deal-aggregator placements without our written permission, including listing invented discount codes.
  • Unsuitable context. No promotion alongside adult, hateful, violent, discriminatory or illegal content, or anything targeted at children.
  • Impersonation. No presenting yourself as The Daily Meds, as our staff, or as speaking on our behalf; no fake support accounts; no press statements about us.
  • Misrepresentation. No inventing prices, features, session counts or what a subscription includes, and no promising anything we have not published.

Breaching this section is a serious breach. It can end the partnership immediately and forfeit pending commission — because commission from prohibited promotion was never validly earned.

7

Disclosure: You Must Label Your Posts as Advertising

This is not optional, and it is not only our obligation — it is yours, personally and directly, under consumer protection law.

Every post, video, story, reel, email, stream, podcast episode or page that carries your tracked link must make the commercial relationship obvious before anyone engages with it. Use #ad or Paid partnership, or an equally clear label, placed where it is seen first: in the opening line, on-screen at the start of a video, or in the platform’s own paid-partnership tool. Not buried at the end of a hashtag block, not below a “more” fold, not in a bio somewhere else, not in the twelfth second of a nine-second clip.

This is required by, among others:

  • the UK CAP Code, which requires marketing communications to be obviously identifiable as such;
  • the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, which makes hidden advertising and misleading commercial practices directly enforceable against traders in the UK; and
  • the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC — in particular Annex I paragraph 11, which bans using editorial content to promote a product where the trader has paid for it without making that clear.

Reviews

The DMCC Act 2024 bans fake and incentivised reviews outright. You must not write, commission, buy or solicit fake reviews of The Daily Meds, you must not post a review disguised as an ordinary customer while earning commission from us, and you must not offer money, free access, entries to a prize draw or anything else of value in exchange for a review. If we ask you to encourage reviews, it will always be without any incentive attached.

8

Health and Wellbeing Claims — The Hard Line

The Daily Meds is a meditation and wellbeing platform. It is not a medical device, a medicine, a diagnostic service or a therapeutic treatment. The name is a play on words. It is not a claim, and you must never promote it as though it were.

You must never state or imply that The Daily Meds, or any session on it:

  • diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents or alleviates any medical or psychiatric condition — including anxiety disorders, depression, insomnia, ADHD, PTSD, chronic pain, eating disorders or addiction;
  • is a substitute for medical advice, therapy, counselling or prescribed medication; or
  • is a reason for anyone to reduce, delay or stop treatment they are receiving.

Do not use clinical or pharmaceutical language: no “clinically proven”, “therapeutic”, “prescription”, “treatment”, “dose” framed as medicine, no invented percentages, and no citing studies we have not ourselves published.

In the UK these claims engage section 12 of the CAP Code and the MHRA’s rules on medicinal claims. In the EU they engage the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive. The exposure is real and it lands on you as well as on us.

Your own experience is a different thing entirely, and it is exactly what we want from you. “This helps me wind down after a set” is honest, human and welcome. “This cures insomnia” is not, and it will end the partnership immediately.

9

Our Brand and Your Content

9.1 Your licence to use our brand

For as long as you are an active partner, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use The Daily Meds name, logo and the promotional assets we supply, solely to promote the Programme and in line with any brand guidelines we issue.

You must not alter, recolour, redraw or combine our marks with your own to make a new mark; use them in a domain name, handle, app name or product name; register or attempt to register them or anything confusingly similar anywhere in the world; or use them in a way that suggests you are us, or that we endorse something we have not seen.

9.2 Your licence to us

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use your name, handle, likeness and the promotional content you publish about The Daily Meds, on our website, in our app and on our own channels, to promote the Programme and the platform. You can revoke this at any time by writing to support@thedailymeds.com, except for materials already printed, scheduled or in circulation, which we will retire as soon as reasonably practicable. You keep ownership of everything you make.

9.3 Featuring you

As an approved partner, we may name and feature you as a partner of The Daily Meds on our site and channels. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will stop.

9.4 When the partnership ends

Both licences end when the partnership ends. You stop using our marks and assets; we stop running new promotion featuring you.

10

Data Protection

10.1 We are each independent controllers

For the Programme, you and The Daily Meds each act as an independent controller under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. We are not joint controllers, and neither of us is the other’s processor. We control the referral, click, attribution and commission data generated by the Programme. You control your own audience data on your own channels.

10.2 What we do with your data

We process your application details, account data and payment information to operate the Programme. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interests in preventing fraud, protecting the Programme and keeping accurate financial records (Article 6(1)(f)). Payment identity data is handled by Stripe as a separate controller for its own regulatory obligations.

10.3 Never send us your audience’s data

Do not send us personal data about your audience. Do not upload or share mailing lists, follower exports, contact details, or the identity of anyone you think you referred. If you send us personal data we did not ask for, we will delete it.

10.4 Your own marketing is your own responsibility

You are solely responsible for the lawfulness of the marketing you carry out: your own privacy notice, your own lawful basis, your own consent records and their proof, your own cookie banner and tracking compliance on your own properties, and your own responses to the people on your list. We do not supervise your channels and we cannot fix a consent problem on your side.

10.5 The people you refer

Once someone signs up, their relationship is with us and we are the controller of their data. Your dashboard shows aggregate figures — clicks, signups, active subscribers and commission. It never shows you who those people are, and we will not tell you.

10.6 Your rights, and one honest limit

You have the usual rights over your own personal data — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Exercise them at support@thedailymeds.com. The honest limit: we are required to keep financial, commission and payout records for six years to satisfy UK tax and accounting law, so a request to erase your data will not reach those records. Everything outside that retention obligation we will delete on request. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

10.7 Indemnity

Plainly: if we face a claim, investigation, fine or loss because of how you handled personal data — unlawful marketing, a breach on your systems, a list you had no consent for — you will indemnify us for it, including reasonable legal costs. This does not extend to anything caused by us.

11

Suspension and Termination

Either of us may end the partnership at any time, for any reason, by writing to the other. You can leave from your dashboard or by emailing support@thedailymeds.com. Ending the partnership does not close your account with The Daily Meds.

We may suspend a partner account where we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms, fraud, artificial traffic, or a legal or regulatory risk to us. If we suspend or terminate you, we will tell you the reason, in writing, so you can respond or put it right. We think that is simply fair, and it mirrors the statement-of-reasons duty in Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 on platform-to-business fairness.

Commission validly earned before termination is still yours and can be requested as a payout once your balance meets the £50 threshold. The exception: where the partnership ended because of fraud, artificial signups or a serious breach of section 6 or section 8, we may withhold pending commission, because it was never validly earned.

When the partnership ends, stop using our name, logo and assets, and remove or deactivate your tracked links. Sections covering tax, data protection, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

12

Changes to These Terms

We will give you at least 15 days’ notice before a change to these terms takes effect, and at least 30 days’ notice for any change that reduces your commission rate or changes how, when or through what channel you get paid.

Notice goes to the email address on your account, and the updated version and date are published at the top of this page. If you do not accept a change, your remedy is to end the partnership before the change takes effect — and you will still be paid what you had already earned.

Changes never apply retroactively. Commission already accrued under an earlier rate stays at that rate.

13

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to that: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of anticipated income, loss of goodwill or loss of opportunity arising from the Programme; and our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to the total commission we paid you in the twelve months before the claim arose.

The Programme is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee any level of traffic, click-through, conversion, subscriber retention or earnings, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted tracking. Nothing on our marketing pages, in our emails or in a conversation with us is a promise or projection of income. What you earn depends on your audience and your work.

14

Complaints and Disputes

14.1 Talk to us first

If something has gone wrong — a commission you think is missing, a suspension you disagree with, a payout that has not arrived — raise it with us at support@thedailymeds.com. We aim to respond substantively within 30 days. Most disagreements are a tracking question and are resolved by looking at the data together.

14.2 Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

14.3 If you are a consumer in the UK or the EEA

If you take part as an individual acting outside your trade or profession, and you are resident in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the clause above does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your own country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country. That is a right you have under Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation, and nothing here takes it away.

15

General

Entire agreement. These terms, together with the main Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Programme and replace anything said or written before.

No waiver. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.

Severability. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest carries on in full force.

Assignment. You may not transfer your partnership, your link or your commission to anyone else without our written consent. We may assign these terms to a group company or to a buyer of the business, provided your rights are not reduced.

Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
